Winter Ranch RV Resort is located in warm and sunny Alamo, Texas, just 2 blocks from Expressway (Interstate) 83. This gives our guests convenient access to the best attractions in the Rio Grande Valley and Northern Mexico. Less than an hour's drive away are the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Port Isabel and South Padre Island offer many opportunities including swimming, deep-sea fishing and just lounging on the world famous gulf beaches.

 
You'll find 3 major shopping malls within a few minute's drive, and there are modern grocery stores, banks, pharmacies and just about any shopping you would enjoy in a major northern city. There are lots of great restaurants too!

Amenities

You can practice your golf swing on our Par 3 golf course (free to residents). And then swing your partner to a live big band in our 10,000 sq ft dance floor. In season, we have weekly dances, jams, live music, and entertainment.

Lounge by the pool in one of our gazebos or relax in one of our 104 degree spas. Shoot a game of pool in our brand new pool hall. Other on-site amenities and activities include: shuffleboard, horseshoes, bingo, card games, Red Hatters, sewing and quilters groups and craft shows. We have line dancing classes, potlucks and parties, and tours on our own park bus.

Free high speed Wi-Fi internet access is available at the pools, and main hall. Internet access is offered at your site by a 3rd party Wi-Fi vendor or through AT&T DSL services. Our technology lab for residents uses 4 computers with high speed DSL internet connections.
